Lesson of the day

Little incident just occurred. Ja, of course am not going into detail of what actually happened and who were involved. It all started when I read one of my email accounts and found a long email about particular issue. My very first reaction after reading it was like:

Seriously, I felt reading something that's been written by a high school drama queen. It was so annoying and funny at the same time.  I had no idea what's actually going on inside that person's mind, but I was sure that the person assumed something and made a conclusion. That person -I believed was in a negative emotions- then decided to write something which turned into some kind of counter attack for him/herself.

We are told, whenever we are in a negative emotions, shutting our mouth is the best option to avoid offending others with our negative words. Apparently, not to offend other is not the only reason why we'd better be quiet in this kind of situation. We may not offend others, but we may end up embarrassing ourselves by saying something stupid and nonsense. Just let those negative-emotions sink, then start thinking.

Another lesson to learn, assumption can be lethal. If we're not sure about something, we'd better ask. Clarify everything at the first place is wise enough rather than deduce some kind of conclusion based on something that we're not sure about.

Whatever now, let me enjoy my Monday evening.
